Apartments around Alicante and the rest of the Costa Blanca come in many different shapes and sizes. The most common is the 2 bedroom apartment as it is suitable for both couples and larger families. Investors interested in buying a property to rent will find that due to its versatility the 2 bedroom apartment (in most cases at least) proves to be the best outlay versus income.
1 bedroom Alicante apartments are still available, although less so today then in the past. Constructors are veering away from building as many 1 bed properties these days due to heightened building costs. Most 1 bed apartments are therefore available on the resale market, although some constructors will offer options.
The increase in recent years on land / plots means that 3 bedroom apartments are on the increase. Often offering as much room internally as a townhouse a 3 bedroom apartment is an ideal option for the buyer looking for a family home, but finding him/herself on the edge of what is needed in terms of budget.
As Alicante land costs have increased less 1 up 1 down apartments are being built. However where possible constructors do try to build blocks no more than 3 storeys in height (and indeed in certain spots they are not allowed to build any higher). In areas where land is scarce, such as in pre-existing towns/where the land does not allow for anything else, higher buildings can always be found.

Located just a few minutes from the town of Guardamar, itself host to many amenities, including a blue flag beach. A good selection of golf courses are within easy driving distance of this urbanisation.
Residencial Fontana (Algorfa) Costa Blanca
This brand new phase of apartments offers a range of two bedroom apartments (show home seen ) built to a size specification between 73.24 m2 and 84.31 m2. All apartments have one fitted bathroom as standard. Other features include a fully fitted kitchen, living room/diner and balcony. Some ground floor apartments will come with a garden in addition to a balcony and penthouse apartments come with a private rooftop solarium in addition to the balcony.
RESIDENCIAL ENTRE NARANJOS (Near Montesinos) Costa Blanca
Apartments are built only two storeys in height to keep in theme with the level of the complex, and are therefore available only in ground floor and top floor options. Both have 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom with a good sized living area. They come with basic furniture, alarm and decorative security grills for the windows. The only notable differences between the two styles of apartment are that the ground floor has a garden, a slightly bigger living room and a utility patio. While the 1st floor apartment has a large sun terrace giving better views.
Residencial Cecilia (Algorfa) Costa Blanca
The Residencial Cecilia apartments come in either 1 bedroom or 2 bedroom formats. In both the bedrooms are of a decent size, and they come with 1 bathroom, an open plan kitchen leading through to what is a middle-large front-room in properties of this type. Properties come with a balcony (3rd floor apartments in addition to a rooftop solarium), and are fully furnished throughout. Garages are available with some apartments
