Altea Property Sales, Costa Blanca, Spain
Altea is proving a popular choice for holiday makers and ex-pats from all over Europe. Having an agreeable climate throughout the year and a diverse range of sights and leisure pursuits (see the “Altea tourism” document) it certainly has its benefits, but what can Altea really offer the would be buyer?
Situated in the northern part of the Costa Blanca the town of Altea is well placed for travel throughout Spain. Altea is connected to the A-7 motorway taking you north as far as the French border, and south to Cartagena, Murcia and beyond. However be aware the A7 is a toll road, a cheaper (but slower) alternative is the N-332, running as far along the coast in either direction as any are likely to want to travel. The town also features bus, train and flight connections via Alicante’s International Airport “El-Altet” (further information on flights can be found in the “Altea Flights” document).
Despite its proximity to one of Europe’s largest tourist spots (Benidorm), the white washed town of Altea has managed to remain untouched by mass tourism. It is an excellent spot to savour the delights of “real Spain”, with its many fiestas, excellent cuisine and lively atmosphere.
