Marinas in Costa del Sol, Costa del Sol, Spain
Yachting and boating in general are popular pursuits on the Costa del Sol and throughout southern Spain. The Costa del Sol boasts a multitude of quality marinas along its shores, many of them famous in their own right; such as Puerto Banus for example. An increase in population and earnings to the region in recent years has highlighted a need for more mooring space; and both local government and commercial enterprises have taken to improving this side of the Costa del Sol’s infrastructure.

Malaga Marinas
As one would expect from an area where sailing is held in high regard, there are two marinas in Malaga.
Benalmadena Marina
Since its inauguration the marina has been awarded the “Best Marina in the World” title on two occasions. In addition its waters boast the European Blue Flag for cleanliness.
Fuengirola Marina
This attractive marina can be found towards the centre of town, on the Paseo Maritimo (marine promenade).
Cabo Pino Marina
Located between the neighbouring ports of Fuengirola and Marbella the Cabo Pino Marina forms the centre of a peaceful residential community.
Marbella Marina
The attractive Puerto Deportivo de Marbella is well known and can be found in Marbella’s central most zone.
Puerto Banus Marina
Officially known Puerto Deportivo Jose Banus this marina forms the beating heart of the surrounding community. It also plays host to some of the most beautiful yachts and motor cruisers in the world.
Estepona Marina
The Puerto Deportivo de Estepona can be found at the western end of Estepona’s attractive seafront promenade.
Puerto de la Duquesa Marina
Located between the neighbouring ports of Estepona and Sotogrande the Puerto de la Duquesa marina forms the centre of a charming residential community.
Sotogrande Marina
Built in 1987 the attractive Puerto Deportivo de Sotogrande is considered to be amongst the best in the Mediterranean.
