One of the most touted facts about Marbella is its mild weather, making it an ideal destination for holiday makers throughout summer and winter seasons. The coastline in this part of Spain is sheltered by hills and high mountains; allowing for a micro climate of sorts. This in turn limits rainfall, and as a result the city and surrounding areas enjoy sunshine for in excess of 320 days per year.
At its hottest during the summer months, temperatures rarely fall below 30°C (86°F). Whereas the typically very mild winters, boast daily highs of around 20°C (64°F). At night the low rarely falls below 10°C.
