Selwo Marina offers a mix of marine and bird life. The park is split into 4 themed areas each with different species in natural surroundings. There are a host of animals to see including bottle nosed dolphins, sea lions, and penguins. The aviaries host an extensive range of colourful birdlife.
The penguin enclosure has recently been renovated; a variety of penguin species now share the only “real ice” enclosure on the Costa. The park also boasts Andalucia’s first dolphinarium, where a variety of shows take place often several times per day.
Although the aim of the park is to keep the surroundings as natural as possible, care and attention has also been paid to the amenities/services present. These include public telephones, a cafeteria, restaurant, shop, and rest rooms. Children are also well catered for, with an excellent adventure playground in addition to touch-explore and virtual areas.
Selwo Marina is open from the 11th February, and until the weather becomes too cold towards the end of the year.
